The Context

Building a business comes with a million moving parts. And for many founders, legal protection can often feel like something to tackle later, once everything else is sorted.

When Lawpath first came to us, the legal services platform wanted to connect with Australian entrepreneurs in a way that felt approachable, relevant, and built for social-first audiences.

They already knew that the stereotype of influencer marketing being strictly for beauty, fashion or eCommerce wasn’t true, but weren’t necessarily sure how to start for their industry.

We did though.

We’re an influencer agency that’s worked in basically (almost) every space. And the goal of getting a brand message across despite highly-saturated social feeds? That’s universal. 

But by integrating Lawpath into creators' narratives so naturally, we managed to show Australian entrepreneurs that legal protection isn't just another business tool, but a foundation for success – delivered in a way that felt like advice from a friend, not a scripted ad.

The Campaign

Make law relatable! Via DITL content and storytimes, which are always a content favourite.

Storytelling is as old as humanity itself, and it’s a fundamental human truth that people love stories. Influencers and user-generated content (UGC) are basically the modern evolution of that old oral tradition, and we knew that if executed well, we’d hook any audience in – no matter the offering.   

Using our Sticki creator discovery tech, we rallied a crew of Australian mid-tier and micro-influencers to share their genuine business journeys.

You might be familiar with them: @ruby..rule, @laurenmeisner_, and @julzhealth 

It was a strategy that focused on:

  • Relatability: Using "story-time" hooks like "I made a big mistake when I started my first cafe at 21" to instantly grab attention right off the bat.
  • Natural Integration: Creators seamlessly incorporated Lawpath into conversations around contracts, business setup and navigating growth – positioning the platform as a practical support tool within their entrepreneurial journey.

Platform Synergy: Leveraging both TikTok and Instagram to capture a broad audience of young entrepreneurs, and 74% of our eventual audience reached was aged 18-34.

How We Did It

We didn’t just look for high follower counts. We looked for creators who resonated with Lawpath’s key messaging, as part of our data-led creator sourcing process. 

Half the impact of influencer marketing comes from finding the right brand and creator fit, because it’s that alignment that will eventually be exuded through the content for audiences to see.

And see, they sure did.

@ruby..rule shared a vulnerable story about her cafe-owner journey and all the challenges in her early days, and quickly achieved a 9.18% engagement rate at a low $0.08 cost-per-view (CPV).

But most importantly, her piece of content was so relatable that its TikTok comment section became a hub for gratitude, with users saying, "I wish I knew about this earlier!" and "OMG, this makes getting advice so much more accessible!" 

And that’s on deep resonance.

With 88 saves across the campaign, this clearly indicated high-intent engagement where viewers were bookmarking Lawpath for their own future business needs.

Comments were extremely positive across all creator’s posts, with existing Lawpath users even jumping in to validate the brand (e.g. "I used Lawpath for so many things when starting out!!!"). 

Talk about extra social proof on top of social proof!
